Aside from Wick's advice, there is no good way to fix a delaminated countertop. The particle board substrate has absorbed steam and moisture, loosening the surface fibers, and thus effectively breaking the bond. While it is not impossible to cut out a section and make a patch, it may be unsightly. My guess is your tops have reached their age limit and it's time to replace anyway. If it's only countertops you replace, figure the installed price by a fabricator to run $25 - $30 a foot. The total cost is really not much for counters.....It's the cabinets that cost. Steer wife away from cabinet displays while looking at new laminate patterns !!!! Best of Luck.
