Reparing Cedar shingles on the side of the house.

Posted by H. Woolworth on November 5th, 1999 04:09 PM

I'm looking for a tool that I know exsisits but can't find. I live in the midwest. This tool is used in the repair of cedar shingles on the side of the house. It fits up under the exsisting cedar shingle (the good one above the one you want to replace) and you hit it with a hammer and it removes the nail heads from the shingle you want to replace. Several people here in town say they know what it is but haven't any idea what it's called or how to order one.

Would appreciate any help on were to purchase this tool.

Thank You,
H. Woolworth
