I have an older (maybe 10yrs) deck with Spantex and there are places where it has bubbled, apparently where water has gotten in. If I remember correctly the directions for spantex say use on clean new wood. How do I do repairs? I'm really not in a position to be ripping out the whole deck surface to start over. And if that is what you have to do, then I would NOT EVER recommend this product type for a deck.
