This may be a dumb question, but what the heckÖ A couple of months ago we received moderate hail damage to the aluminum siding on the front side of our house. Itís only visible just before sundown, but it's still an issue, especially since we plan to put the house on the market sometime next year. Because we donít particularly care for the color (light yellow), we have been considering painting the house for some time. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone had ever heard a method of repairing dents to aluminum siding, before painting (maybe some type of putty or filler, etc.)? The dents are similar in size to the impression left by a BB gun and I would imagine I would only attempt to fix 25-50 of the larger indentations.
I would appreciate any advice or suggestions short of re-siding the house. Thanks.
