My fiancee and I recently found our dream home and made an offer. As of about half an hour ago, our agent found out that the slab had cracked and was subsequently repaired.
The agent says that a house with a properly repaired and reinforced slab should is less likely to have problems in the future than a house where the slab was never repaired.
Is our agent correct? Or, will buying this property be a costly mistake on our part?
Thanks in advance,
