REPLACE IT IF IT IS OVER 10 YEARS OLD. CHECK OUT WWW.RUUDAC.COM FOR YOUR MODEL, TYPE FOR WARRANTY INFO. THE INFO BELOW IS FROM RUUD. If it is a oil furnace, I would replace it ASAP. You will have fumes from the furnace in the house everytime it runs with a cracked fire wall.

Furnaces that are five to 10 years old and older may have an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency rating (A.F.U.E.) of 65% or less. That means they only generate about 65˘ worth of heat for every dollar’s worth of fuel.

Since 1992, a federal regulation has required that all furnaces, including the Ruud Deluxe High-Efficiency Oil Furnace, provide an A.F.U.E. of at least 78%. The economic benefits of these higher efficient models over older furnaces are obvious.

Peace of Mind Protection
The Ruud Deluxe High Efficiency Oil Furnace was developed with reliability and durability in mind. The primary and secondary heat exchanger carries a limited lifetime warranty. The oil burner carries a three-year limited warranty, and all other parts have a limited warranty of one year.

Extend Your Coverage With a Protection Plussm Service Contract
Ask your Ruud dealer about the availability in your area of our exclusive Protection Plussm service contract program. When the manufacturer’s limited warranty ends, Protection Plus begins, giving you further protection and peace of mind.

Comfortable Consumer Financing
Participating Ruud dealers provide very attractive financing plans that can make your new heating system even more affordable. Just ask your Ruud dealer for all the details.
