removing wax from carpet

First you need to remove as much as possible with a spatula or a spoon. Then place a ziplock bag of icecubes on the stain for a few minutes this will make the wax become brittle. Then scrape with a spatula or spoon again. After as much of the wax is removed that way you can take a white cloth or brown paper bag and place it on the stain then run a iron over the top of that on a low-med setting, making sure it does not touch your carpet or it will scorch it. The bag or cloth will absorb the wax just make sure you keep using a clean spot until all of the wax is removed then you can use a carpet cleaner that is safe on your carpet.
CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION:dark colored wax is very hard to remove because it can become heat set into your carpet so be very careful when using the iron do not put it on a hot setting..
