I have 2 baths, a kitchen, a hallway, & dining room, & bedroom border that all need to have wallpaper removed. I removed a border from one bedroom, got angry, & really screwed up one wall because I got a little out of hand w/ the paper tiger. (I'll be spackling later) :) It was the vinyl-over-the-paper kind. I finally figured out I had to peel off the printed stuff w/ a razor blade before I can use DIF gel or some other product to remove the paper & glue.

I'm scared about the rest of the house now. Can anyone tell me if there is some easier way I can remove the paper if it is the vinyl or foil type other than a razor blade peeling off the top layer? Can you rent a steamer or something & does that work? ARGH!
