I need to repaint the interior of my home. Unfortunately the previous owner put silicon caulk EVERYWHERE; around every door jam, where all the trim meets the walls. They went nuts. My painter says removing it is an unbelievable job; we might have to replace all the trim but there will still be caulking everywhere. Is there any treatment to make it paintable? Or is there an easier way to remove it other than scraping and sanding? Please help!!!
