removing lineoleum floor

Posted by Betty Raiford on October 2nd, 2000 10:15 AM

Is there an easy way to remove old lineoleum from a kitchen floor that has been down a while? The old lineoleum is dry and brittle and the adhesive is also thisck and brittle - scraping is not working. There is a good solid wood floor beneath if I can ever get the old up? Help..
