WE HAVE DECIDED TO PULL UP THE CARPET AND REFINISH THE HARDWOOD FLOOR IN OUR SOON TO BE BABY'S ROOM. FROM WHAT I CAN SEE THE WOOD APPEARS TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE BUT IT HAS A THIN LAYER OF PAINT ON TOP OF IT ALONG WITH THE CARPET NAILS. THE PAINT EASILY SCRAPES OFF WITH MY FINGER NAIL BUT I DON'T KNOW THE BEST WAY TO REMOVE IT WITHOUT SCRAPING THE WOOD. I ALSO DON'T KNOW HOW TO REMOVE THE CARPET NAILS. AS YOU CAN SEE THIS A FIRST TIME HOME IMPROVEMENT THING FOR ME AND I NEED ADVICE! THANKS FOR ANY REPLYS!
