Removing antique oak flooring

Posted by D Olson on April 1st, 2003 11:07 PM

My husband and I want to pull 3/4" x 3" oak flooring (about 4000 sq ft) out of an old school house and have it installed and refinished in a new home we are building. We realize you think we are crazy, but it's free...if we take it out. We can take the subflooring also. It's not glued down but has nails about every 12". Who or where can I get a lesson on the best way to start on this monster project?
