We are in the process of fixing up a house that we are selling. In the dining room there used to be a wood burning stove with a pipe coming directly out of the ceiling. We currently have a flute cover over the hole but would like to eliminate the part that comes through (at the least) on the inside of the house. It is a deffinate eye sore in the room. Is it possible to remove part of the pipe without having to remove all off it and having to re-roof the house?
