Removing Acrylic Paint From Precious Antiques

Posted by Antique Ruiner on February 28th, 2002 12:05 PM

I made an idiotic mistake a long time ago of painting a beautiful antique chair, now that i love antiques i want to take the paint off without harming the finish underneath, I just used cheap apple barrel acrylic in black, gold, tan and white and I think i put a thin coat of polyurethane sealer over the top. I fear I've ruined tha chair, any advice?
