I removed a painted popcorn ceiling in my bathroom-wasn't easy! There are still some patches that will not come off, even after water soaking. There is bare drywall underneath, and I tried sanding these as best as I could.

What do I apply to ceiling now, besides Kilz or bin and paint? There are a few nicks in drywall from scraping. How do I hide them? Do I have to put another popcorn ceiling up, or is there something easier and cheaper? I really don't want another popcorn mess! Please help!
