Remove Contact Cement

In reply to removing contact cement from Lexan (plastic) by W. C. DeLorme, III on January 21st, 2003 02:20 PM [Go to top of thread]

The previous owner of our home installed a new bathtup kit. Where the various parts join, there must have been a surplus of contact sement and it was wiped off. This left behind a layer of the adhesive and it is a yellow colour. I would like to remove this mess without harming the vinyl bathtub kit.
