Wow......chattahoochee stone is considered a permanent floor covering......For the uninformed that's the small pebble-stone afixed with a strong epoxy.....Lots-o-Forida Pool-decks/patios....If the original concrete surface was well prepared and the the "Chat" is still in good condition then the removal will be tough.........But if it's failing....well then things MAY be easier........

Chisel it!........by hand .........power jack-hammer......aim for the epoxy trying to lever the stone from the concrete.......certainly the concrete surface will be damaged by the "treatment" or the remaining epoxy residue.....
