I read your inquiry and the reply from Chris. If the PEEL AWAY 7 product is used as directed it will remove the paint in one application and keep the natural color of the wood. Test areas are always required and that tells you the thickness to apply the product but more IMPORTANTLY the time frame for leaving the product on the surface. If it requires a two days time frame for all of the paint to be removed so what! if you can remove it in one application. Cleanup is done using either mineral spirits or denatured alcohol both of which have a high rate of evaporation so you will not be raising the grain of the wood. PEEL AWAY 7 is guaranteed to work so I suggest you try it despite the above message.
