Removal of Crow's Foot

Crow's foot can be in many densities of texture.

If its the crows foot that is very light, its best to skim coat or float out the ceiling with watered down joing compound.

If is the crows foot that is heavy, you need to knock downt he peaks and then skim coat or float out the ceiling with not so watered down joing compound.

your plan of attack really depends on the thickness or how heavy the crows foot was applied.
