Recoloring Mortar

Do not put new mortar ontop of the old it will crack and fall out.
We sell a product called AQUA MIX grout colorant a product used to re color cementitious material after cure. Mortar falls into this category,
This product can only be applied as long as the mortar was never sealed.
If not sealed the product will take well, you will have to paint it on every joint with a brush. And be carefull not to get it on the brick.You can also seal the brick first this way the colorant won't bond to the brick but you can't get the sealer on the mortar joints that you want to recolor .
