I ecently put up a block crawl space foundation for the log cabin I'm building in Colorado. I failed my inspection because I only installed rebar in the step down part of the block wall which is about 4 feet. I guess I was suppose to put rebar down the wall every 32 inches, which I didn't do because I thought the other part of the wall was only 36 inches and didn't need reinforcing. THe problem is I cn put rebar down the wall every 32 inches but I can't connect it to the rebar in the footer since it's already poured and the block wall is sitting on top. Any ideas on how to correct the problem without taking down the wall!
