lol. It's for servicing. Shut the switch and no power to the appliance. Can't go to the breaker panel all the time.

Just like there needs to be a switch for a Jacuzzi GFI but that's another story why.

My question had to do with using a 15amp switch with 12-2 and a 20amp breaker.
