It's time to repaint my out buildings which have seamed tin metal roofs (about 1200 sf). Any suggestions as to alternatives for the standard oil based paints. The roof has gone to long without a repaint and does have rust in various places. I'd like to find a product (maybe high tech) that won't require repainting for a very long time. Any suggestions as to what might work best? Two stage coatings? Epoxy based? I'm hoping to roll the product application and brush the seams. The color needs to be green to go along with my restored farm house. Thanks for any suggestion you might have.
