Re-lay the boards this Summer

I think Jay is correct. When the floor boards were layed the wood mush have been too fresh or in a very moist environment. Sometimes, builders will let the boards sit in your house for a few weeks so they can acclimate you your environment before laying them. However, many builders today are in a hurry.

I would wait until mid-summer, then if the cracks are still present, have the floor pulled up and re-layed. This is the only real solution. Forget about filling the cracks, cause you won;t like the resulting look and it is not the correct way to fix such a problem...
