If your tv uses a ctc 177 or 187 chassis, It is quite possible the regulator in the power supply shorted and took out the line fuse, Other problems with this chassis are cracked solder connections at the tuner shield and bad eproms.
If it uses the ctc 169 chassis, It could be anything from a shorted horizontal output transistor to bad capacitors in the power supply.
Either repair shouldn't be that bad as far as cost, Just make sure the serviceman checks the crt first to see if repair is worthwile.
