You can use 95/5 as the temperature is close to 50/50 near 455 F degrees.

The flame is hot enough to turn the area red. It isn't the temperature range of the torch; but the area that can be heated to dull red around 1400 degrees with that torch - how much of the outside area can be heated to dull red at one time. I've done 3/8" tubing with one; but that is slow and you have to go around the tube with it to get parts around the outside in a continuous heat as the silver solder melts (while using a proper good flux.) energy businessmen's knowledge

Yes, you really have to find out the MAKE and MODEL to get good answers. There IS more than one machine made.
