I painted my livingroom walls with the walnut color then I applied a dark avacado green mixed with the Ralph Lauren transparent glaze according to the directions. I applied it with a sea sponge roller in loose random strokes. After applying it to an area about 4 x 4 ft sections I took a damp cloth and blotted the wall, not rubbing it like I've seen others do. It takes a lot of time. My room is 30 x 20 with a portion that is raised ceiling. Then we finished it off with molding. It turned out rich looking and matches my new livingroom furniture. The walls were kind of rough finished with a skip trowell effect and it looks great. Beyond my best expectations. Don't be afraid to get creative. Color is fun and can change the whole look of a room. I'm loving mine.
