You need a circular saw with a ply wood blade. Cut off just enough from the bottom of each door to allow for a nice snug sweep across the carpet. Remember the carpet will settle, so don't cut too much.
Then do not forget to paint the new cut with paint. doors act like sponges and soak up humidity in the home and will start to warp and act up.
If you seal it with paint or varnish, it will not soak up humidity.
when cutting off the doors, measure twice, cut once and do not remove the hinges, remove the pin only. The more you remove and reinstall those screws the more trouble you will have with uncooperating doors.
