Hi Jason,
I live in an Eichler home, which was designed using rediant heating. Once you have radient heating, you'll never go back to conventional Eichlers, the heating is in the slab, so when you walk on the floor barefooted or lay on the floor enjoying the fire in the fireplace there is warmth underneath you. Also no dust for alerigies from heating vents. Relace heating filters....? There are none in a radient system. It's also more economical !
One down-side....and it may be a biggie !!!
If the system is in the slab and it ever needs sevicing, that could be a MAJOR problem. If however, the system is designed for easy maintenance, thre should be no problems and it would be the BEST way to go!
If U want to talks some more about this, U can e-mail me for more info !
