Radiators--removing pain

Posted by Carol on August 11th, 2000 08:03 PM

The radiators in my house are painted the color of the walls. I have read that radiators should not be painted. I am now repainting the walls. Should I repaint the radiators the new color of the walls, or is there a way to remove the paint from the radiators? (I have been removing paint from woodwork so I have chemical strippers, every sander ever made, a heat gun, etc.)
Thanks for any advice.
(When I was going through the previous messages to see if this question had been addressed, I was amused to see that someone had entertained himself by using foul language on this site to shock people. I have been amazed at some of the words that have come out of my mouth since I started trying to rehab this 113 year old house!)
