Hi have a house built in the late 60's with electric radiant ceiling heat. It seems the heat panels are between two sheets of drywall and this fits other descriptions i have found.

I am concerned that i have read about some recalls and some safety issues with some types of radiant ceiling heat.

how can i determine what kind i have without taking a ceiling down.

there are two seperate wires to the thermostat from the panels that have outer red coverings and are about 1/4" thick. The wires are are 12 gauge.

help

Bill
