Did you include your crawlspace in your HVAC 'envelope'? (In other words, is it heated and cooled like the rest of the house after you insulated it and 'sealed' it from the outside?)

How big is your crawlspace? (Shawn's is 1000 sq. ft. To me, that's a LOT of space to heat/cool when you're not using it. Even if it's only 3' high w/no 'moving' air.)

Does your crawlspace have a poured floor or is it dirt covered w/plastic? (You're still gonna get cool air from the dirt floor unless you 'insulate' it too. This will cause your HVAC system to work that much more in an unused 'space' like a crawlspace.)

Did you first try to just 'wrap' your ducts? (If not, why? I have an unheated, 450 sq. ft. poured crawlspace that's 3' high w/4 vents to the outside world. It's NOT part of my HVAC system. I've simply wrapped 2 ducts w/insulation and all is well.)
