Just wondering about a possible solution to the problem of if you were selling your house and didn't have a permit for electricity in a shed, why not just disconnect the conduit from the breaker so if the buyer doesn't care, you won't have to go to all that work? Of course, it stands to reason that the city will also be checking out whether the shed itself has a building permit. I guess there's just no way to get around it.
