Hi Peter,

Have you looked behind the wall to determine if there are Mixing Valves installed anywhere along the 'water route'? You'll have to do some investigating starting in the basement. YOu may need to remove access panels too. From there, you may need to 'adjust' the setting. Or, it may need replacing depending on what you have for water. (They can get corroded, and old ...)

Talk to the folks in the Homeowner's Association to see if they know they were installed during the construction. For more info on Mixing Valves, see Mixing Valve Links at

Also, do you have single-handle faucets or a 'lever' for controlling the hot and cold?
