I wish I can help you right quick but I must ask, and perhaps for the benefit of other Follow-uppers on the Forum, why do I get a sense of desperation? I can add that if you plan on doing this yourself, you may be subjected to zoning laws in your community. In general, car ports follow the same zoning regulations as garages. And, if you're in a hurricane or tornado prone area, the building requirements may be more stringent (for obvious reasons). They're meant to protect you and your neighbors and cover you properly for insurance, home and car.

I know you can buy these 'tent' versions of carports. A neighbor of mine keeps an old Mercedes in it. It's an aluminum framed one so it's light. (I haven't seen how it handles high winds though.)

My best to ya and hope this helps. Any additional info can only help us help you.

Jay J
