Evelyn: I tried QRB. It comes with a great audio tape that educated me about wood. However, when it came product performance, forget it. Now it could be that my chairs were from a hotel and just possibly had some type of industrial finish that was extra hard to remove. (I'm an amatuer.) But I don't think that was the problem. I used all of the QRB, had to buy other stripper, used steel wool, a sander and finally bleach to remove the old finish. So you can see that my experience with QRB came no where near the ease of the infomercial audience. I also became angry when I found that QRB on the shelf in a local store. (I thought that it was offered exclusively on TV. Which meant that I could have saved on shipping and handling charges and didn't have to wait for disappointment to be delivered to my door. Also, you have to mix the stain. Why should you have to do that when there is a wide selection right in any hardware store? Hope that this helps.
