The 9 amps are probably running amps. On start up, when the pumps are warm or as they get older,
they tend to draw more amps. This is why people who do not use time-delay fuses on their furnace
tend to have them blow often. You can try to put them on one circuit, but have a backup plan in case
you begin to trip your breakers.
