My tech advised me that my furnace's condensate line should gradually slope down to where it is supposed to drain, and that this would somehow discourage further clogs. My unit is a horizontally-mounted one in my three-block-high crawlspace, and the line runs the length of my house - furnace and drain are at opposite ends of the place. I'm going to have a lot of fun laying that down in such a manner. Does his suggestion sound sensible?
