Brian, I'm confused as to what you mean by "What do I do about it?" From what you've told us, it sounds like they are doing something that's become increasingly unusual, but most admirable; telling you honestly that the quality of the pry bars they now stock won't stack up to the quality of the one you have now, rather than telling you what you want to hear just to make a sale.

Unless you're pursueing a warranty issue on the one you own now, the thing to do is look elsewhere for a replacement of matching quality.
