perhaps at the outlet in the other room. they are all daisy chained. do you have aluminum wiring in the house or copper? verify no circuit breakers are tripped. this will take some troubleshooting ...if not comfortable doing this hire it out to an electrician. You need to carefully determine if the outlet in the other room is the beginning of the chain where the open circuit or break in the chain is. to do this you need to take that outlet out of the box in the wall and see if there are any loose connections ....both sides of the outlet should have black wire n the brass looking screw terminal and a white wire connected to the silver screw terminal. carefully check to see if both sides are tightly connected. before doing this it might even be better to verify no voltage exist on either side of that outlet with a AC voltmeter. post back with results.
