Go around to various spots and rub the primer with your fingers to see if it has chalked, if there is no chalky white on your fingers then it should be ok, if there is you may need to do a little light sanding before painting. No need to reprime unless you sand it off in spots, then just spot prime the bare places, but you shouldn't have to sand it down that much.
