Actually, pregrouted tile can save you a lot of time. They typically come in 12" by 12" sections with the grout already in place. If you have to tile around bathroom fixtures, you simply remove specific tiles from the sheet to make room for the fixtures. Then you make your cuts to the individual tiles, replace and regrout. They're adhered to the walls using adhesive--silicone I believe. There's not much to it.
