After some research, I have discovered that the walls are made from terracotta blocks (a practice common in New York buildings at the turn of the century). The blocks are then covered in plaster with some kind of textured paper on top of that.
How easy is it to demolish these walls? Any suggestions on how to restore the walls to smooth finish?
