Hey this will work, there are better and worse ways.

One piece of advice, get the flex hose that screws to the nozzle for spraying upward or downward. If you don't, the gun and paint holder will leak and sputter.

This is a 6 inch flex hose that attaches to the tip and allows the painter to be level and up right, then the hose is bent down to paint.

You will like it.

Also, these guys are very very very particular about spraying thick paint. Follow carefully about diluting the paint with water to achieve the right vescosity
