The guy who poured the concrete came out and made expansion joints using a wet saw. Then took a dry saw and went over the cracks to make them a little wider. Then the next step is to fill the cracks with epoxy gel. We live in central Florida (fairly mild climate). I'm am not convinced this is the correct method for solving this problem because in one section there is movement in the concrete. The concrete guy says this will be resolved with the epoxy. How long is a solution like this going to last? A tile floor covering, if done properly should last for fifty years. Any comments would be appreciated.
