Pouring a Cement Driveway

Posted by Jim Simons on March 28th, 2003 09:04 PM

I now have a stone driveway I want to pour an aproach to my garage. The size is rather large it is going to be 35'X 32' I was going to pour it in three 12' wide sections (one section each weekend. My question is how do i join the three sections together. I have had people tell me to drill holes in the cement and put Re-Rod to hold the sections together as if it were one slab. If I do that will I need to put Esxpantion joint in there? Or should I let these three section float seperatly. Also I was going to have the Fiber Mesh put in the concrete so that I would not have to use wire. (What would be your recomendations?)
Thank You
