C., a good place to start would be by searching the previous posts that have appeared on the board here, and there have been many. This should narrow down the questions that you might have, if not answer all of them. When your questions are down to a reasonable number, start a new thread by clicking the block that reads "Post a new message" or similar wording on the Fix it For'em page where all the current topic are listed.
For what it's worth, all the people that post answers here do it because we enjoy being able to help others with their problems. We are not paid, except the occasional "Thank you." message. At the same time, as you might imagine, we might get a little tired answering the same question every day for a month straight. That's why checking the search feature for your subject is the best place to start.
Every post on the forem/forum home page gets read. Not every post gets and answer, either because no one knows enough to feel sure about the answer or, very occasionally, the way a question is presented is a turn-off.
