Possible exception to the rule?

But, how about those appliances which have flat, molded plugs where the ground is at the top, opposite the cord (when the cord goes down the wall from the receptacle)? Those are ones where I will turn the outlet; if you don't, the cord coming off the top TRIES to pull the plug out.

What I really want to know is on a horizontal box, which is the correct ground the left or right LOL ☺
