I have a slopped ceiling that goes from 8'8" to about 12' high. Over the couse of time you can now see the areas where the drywall seams are from heavy snow fall etc. We would like to hide those lines and loose nail holes that I renailed and screwed into the ceiling and spackled over by doing the popcorn effect. I just installed an electrical box in the ceiling for a fan. There was never any fixture in the ceiling before. Is the popcorn era a thing of the past? Is it still a good modern look? I feel that's the only way to hind the ugly look. What's the best stuff to use?
