I installed Bellawood floors (Brazilian Koa) on the main level of my home. The prefinished coating from the manufacturer is getting hairline scratches from my dog and the floors are only a year old. Is there any way to use a polyurethane sealer to fill in the existing scratches and prevent these scratches from occurring going forward? I never had this problem in my old house since I used a polyurethane sealer. However, this is my first experience with prefinished hardwood. Is there anyway to fix problem and prevent it from happening again? The floors are beautiful and I wanted to put them throughout rest of house, but it doesn't seem feasible unless there's a way to fix problem.
